Releasing the Address

 

You can release the addresses that are no longer being used.

 

1.  To do so, on the Elastic IP addresses page, select the address that you wish to release.

 

Note: You can release the elastic IP address that is not associated with an instance.

 

 

2.  Click the Release Address button.

 

The Release Address message box asking you to confirm the releasing of the address will be displayed.

 

 

The selected IP address will be released.
