You can add a disk to your SoftNAS instance directly from the Microsoft Azure management interface.

 

To add a disk

 

1. Navigate to the SoftNAS instance.  The VM properties are displayed.

 

 

 

2. Scroll down to the Configure section and click on Disks. 

 

 

 

The Disks Blade is displayed.

 

 

 

 

3. Click on Attach New.

4. From the "Attach a new Disk" Blade specify the Disk File Name and Size.

 

Note: You may retain the default Disk File Name.

 

 

 

5. From the "Choose a container" Blade specify the appropriate Stroage Account and Container.

 

 

6. Click on Ok.  The new disk is added to the SoftNAS instance.
