In order to download SoftNAS and avail its services, you need to sign up and become a member of the SoftNAS community.

 

Signing up and downloading SoftNAS are very easy. Simply follow the steps given below.

 

1.  Open your browser and enter the SoftNAS website link https://www.softnas.com/ in the Address bar.

 

The SoftNAS home page will be displayed.

 

 

2.  Click the Downloads option in the main navigation menu.

 

The SoftNAS Download Registration page will be displayed.  Enter your first and last name, company name and email address to proceed with the download.

 

 

Press the Download button to register and download.

 

 

3.  On the Customer Downloads page, click on the download button corresponding to the platform you want to install SoftNAS on; e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Amazon EC2, etc.

 

4. On the download page, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the product.

 

The page has download links for the following SoftNAS supported platforms.

 

 

Click the Download Now button in the SoftNAS download for the required platform. In the above example, the SoftNAS file for VMWare is being downloaded.

 

The SoftNAS for the selected platform starts downloading.  The standard Save dialog will be displayed.

 

 

5. Save the selected platform supported SoftNAS zip file to your computer.

 

6.  After the zip file is completely downloaded, extract the files to the computer's hard drive and proceed according to the Install Guide instructions for the hypervisor platform you chose.
